Founded in 1995, the Natural Alternative Nutrition Center has always strived to provide top quality products to our community. We are a hub of learning and information for those who may be struggling with health issues, or for those who are looking to optimize their health. We provide monthly classes as well as nutritional consulting to ensure that you feel supported in whatever your health goals are. The Natural Alternative carries the cleanest products from skin care to liver support, digestion, daily vitamins, CBD and more. Our knowledgeable staff are passionate about helping others and share the same client focused drive to help improve your quality of life.

Hi, Everyone! My name is Josie and I am the manager of The Natural Alternative. I am a proud aunt and a cat mom of two silly fur babies. When I’m not working, I like to spend my day at the beach, sitting next to a campfire, or cooking an amazing meal! I am also enrolled to become a NBHWC certified Wellness Coach with the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute. I am passionate about helping others and am honored to do so at The Natural Alternative.

Hello! My name is Margaret Pauls. I moved to the Central Coast CA in 2013 and became a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner in 2019 to pursue my commitment to help my community find health and wellness through nutrition. In 2024 I’m working to become a Dr. Sears Wellness Institute Coach in order to become NBHWC certified. Whether you stop in as a customer, have a one-on-one consultation with me, or participate in one of our group classes, I look forward to hearing your story and would be honored to be invited into your wellness journey!

While I do get a kick from watching my pets and sharing jokes with my son, I also enjoy bodybuilding! A lot of what I know about health and wellness is from personal experience. Whether it’s about muscle recovery, diet, or gut health, I have a wealth of knowledge to pull from to help optimize your health.
